Reservoir of Creative Energy 

Creativity can feel elusive, but it may be more helpful to see it as a reservoir, vast, deep, and constantly replenished. Within every artist lies a wellspring of impressions, memories, and emotions waiting to be drawn to the surface. Each life experience adds sediment and color; joy, grief, love, and anger stir the waters; the environments we move through, city streets, quiet rooms, open landscapes, feed it with texture and light. Conversations and collaborations ripple across it, shifting perspective. This reservoir is not fixed or fragile; it is alive, shaped continuously by how we live and what we notice.

To nurture it, we cultivate curiosity and remain porous to the world. Exploring new mediums, honoring small creative rituals, reflecting through journaling, wandering through nature, and exchanging ideas with others all deepen and refresh the source. And like any body of water, creativity moves in cycles, there are seasons of overflow and seasons of drought. When the current slows, the task is not to force it, but to replenish: to rest, to observe, to gather. Trusting these rhythms allows the reservoir to refill naturally, often returning with greater force and clarity. Creativity is not finite; it expands as we engage with it.
